i expected a lot from Maja Ferme, but was kind of dissapointed. the gowns weren`t that special, some clothes didn`t fit the models right, the stylings were poor and the wigs were a great idea but some models looked horrible with them. the old hollywood theme is really passé, i only loved the last two looks and even that just because they remind me of givenchy haute couture. don`t they?
you can read my whole rewieu of Philips Fashion Week here...
i looooooved this collection and it`s probably the only one where i felt
"ok, this is totally made for me!" Nina Šušnjara`s 50:50 collection is
spot on trends, you can see she`s been inspired from everywhere (miu
miu, balmain, valentino,...) but i don`t mind that at all (unlike
directly copying lanvin for h&m). the stylings are also amazing,
love all the accessories: belts, jewelry, shoes, sunglasses and
underwear. there are some great details like zipper endings, studs an
metal conclusions on collars. my favourite looks are the one with the
studded jacket, lbd and the one with the belted chest. do u like the collection?
the photo conditions were terrible the second day, so i`m sorry for the low quality of the pics, they didn`t turn out like i wanted.
the second show of the first day was packed with people, maybe even too packed. you could really see that fashion industry and everyone involved in it were craving for this kind of event. the fact that Valerija Kelava was sitting in the front row made it so much more important and real. i even hear the gossip that she might close the fashion week, but you will have to wait and see if that came true.
m*faganel opened the show with elegant and minimalistic pieces he`s know for. i can`t stop thinking about the black and white suit, i loved it! next was Farandula wich i didn`t like so much, the only exciting pices were the lace dresses. i think it was too much of everything... Draž really suprised me. usually i don`t like their knittes at all but this time i really feel in love with the color combos. next was Firma, very youthful, retro and colorful. i like the accesories. the collaboration between Almira Sadar and Niti Niti was interesting, but i only really liked just a few looks. thumbs up for the Startas shoes! the show closed with the only guest from abroad Goodone. i loved the whole collection, it was very trendy and it`s even made from eco materials.
