Anna Dello Russo for H&M

yesterday`s queen of the hour was definitely Anna Dello Russo. h&m announced they will be collaborating with fashion editor in a accessories collection. the news spread through the blogosphere like it was contageous. i read a lot of negative reviews about the collaboration since it`s not a designer name but i don`t see any harm in that. fashion houses and designers have been collaborating with non fashion names for decades (for instance athletes or musicians). i think people with non designer professions can have a unique input in fashion since they experience it from a different perspective. and that is not even the case in this collaboration. ADR is a fashion editor and an amazing stylist who has a great eye for accessories. i think the collaboration is spot on!

and what does the press release say? we can expect a glamorous, playful and ornamental collection of jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a suitcase. Anna wanted to design a collection of accessories that are usually very hard to find and i think she succeded. and look at the golden clutch with turquoise stones, it looks like a million bucks! personally i`m very excited since the last few collaborations (marni, versace, lanvin) weren`t up my alley. i`ll put up a fight for this one!

Anna Dello Russo for H&M collection will be available in 140 stores worlwide from 4th october.
